Some inspiration!

I looked at the photographer Wesley Cummings-
Wesley cummings was raised in the environs of South Georgia where much of the inspiration for his photographs comes from. He currently resides in Atlanta, GA where he continues to document the ever-changing regions that remind him of his childhood.

This is some of the work he has done based around his childhood!

I really like these images, i really get the sense of emotional attachment to these images, with certain detials like the basketball net in the bottom image, giving you that real sense that his childhood had never left the place, weather he lives there or not now or the basket ball net was there in his childhood or not, it still gives a really good sense of innocence and perhaps him missing childhood, i think for the photographer it seems a very relivant detail weather he even played basketball as a child it is still something that symbolizes childhood!


I also really like the look of these images, these images look like they have been shot on film, if i shoot digitally( which due to budget is lookin more likely!) i would like to experimenting with editing like this, which again is also something that symbolizes youth using a dated old type of film!
